About Us
Anyone who has trusted us with their treatment knows that we do things differently.
Have you ever been to Physiotherapy and found you saw the physio for just a few minutes? And they didn’t actually touch your body? And you were given nothing more than a sheet of exercises? We have been osteos & physios long enough to hear those complaints repeated.
Our focus is clear communication, great hands-on treatment to help your pain and clear planning to get you back to doing what you love.
Meet the Team:
Ryan
Over the years, Ryan has mentored and supervised physiotherapists who have gone on to work within InTune Clinic and to establish their own independent practices, such as The Movement Clinic at Dance City (Newcastle).
His trainees leave with a strong foundation in evidence-based manual therapy and clinical rehabilitation, forming part of his wider professional legacy across the North East.
He fully intends to continue supporting undergraduate physiotherapists from local universities, helping them enter the MSK private sector with confidence and competence.
Amanda
Amanda specialises in women’s MSK and pregnancy-related pain, helping women feel stronger, more confident, and more comfortable throughout daily life, pregnancy, and beyond. Her approach is gentle, supportive, and centred around what each patient needs to feel safe and cared for.
She also plays a big part in teaching and guiding university placement students at InTune, helping them grow into skilled, compassionate clinicians. Patients often say Amanda has a naturally calming presence - someone who listens, understands, and makes them feel at ease from the moment they walk in.
When she’s not in the clinic, Amanda loves food, dancing, and nights out with friends and family. Her fun, friendly personality brings a lot of warmth to the team and the patients she supports.
Beth
Beth’s journey into physiotherapy began with a fascination for how the body moves and adapts — leading her to complete a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science followed by an MSc in Physiotherapy.
Her career so far has included roles within the NHS and Nuffield Health, where she supported patients through all stages of recovery. Today, Beth combines that clinical experience with a passion for gym-based rehabilitation, helping people rebuild strength and confidence in a supportive, goal-focused environment.
When she’s not helping others move better, Beth enjoys training in the gym, travelling to new places, and exploring the outdoors with her dog, Peter.
Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel, a new practitioner at the clinic specialising in sports massage and lymphatic drainage.
I have recently graduated from Northumbria University with a First-Class degree in Physiotherapy and I’m passionate about creating a comfortable, supportive environment where clients feel listened to and cared for. Whether you’re managing an injury, improving performance, or supporting your overall wellbeing, I’m here to provide personalised care to support your goals.
In my spare time, I love keeping active at the gym and getting outdoors for long walks with my dog, which helps bring balance and energy to my work. I’m really looking forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey to feeling your best.
Jack
Hi, I’m Jack a Massage Therapist & Physiotherapy Student
I’m currently in my third year studying physiotherapy and have been working at Intune for the past 10 months. I provide deep tissue massage to help you feel looser, move better, and get you back to doing what you love. Im passionate about helping you in your journey through recovery and provide you with premium personalised care.
I’m especially interested in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehab after injury. You’ll usually find me in shorts (yes, even in winter!) and when I’m not in the clinic, I’m probably playing football or at the gym
Caleb
Hi, I’m Caleb, a Sports Rehabilitation Therapy student at the University of Sunderland, currently specialising in massage therapy.
I’m passionate about helping people recover from injuries, reduce pain, and improve performance through hands-on treatment and movement-based rehab. With a strong background in endurance sports and gym training, I understand the demands active individuals face and aim to support them every step of the way.
My goal is to become a fully qualified sports rehab therapist and make a real difference in people’s recovery journeys.
Hi, I’m Holly, I am a fully qualified physiotherapist and a recent graduate from Northumbria University where I achieved a First-class Honours degree in Physiotherapy.
During my studies, I discovered a real passion for Pilates - not just for the physical benefits, but how it makes you feel. For those 45 minutes, you are completely in tune with your body - connected, focussed and grounded.
As a physiotherapist, my passion for helping others feel good through intentional movement couldn’t be more aligned with the principles of Pilates.
Aside from Pilates, I love hiking in the Lake District with my dog Odie (a brown cockapoo) and spending time with family and friends. I am excited to start teaching Pilates at InTune and hope to create a warm space where you leave feeling strong, confident and reconnected to your body.
Holly
