Frequently Asked Questions

What makes your clinic different from others?

We don’t just treat symptoms—we solve problems. Our approach starts with understanding the root cause of your pain through advanced diagnostic techniques trusted by elite athletes. From there, we create a tailored recovery plan designed to restore function and eliminate pain for good.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Your first session is all about understanding. In the first 30 minutes, we’ll conduct a thorough assessment to pinpoint the root cause of your discomfort.

In the second 30 minutes we’ll create a personalised recovery plan tailored to your needs. We’ll provide hands-on therapies specific to your problem, and we’ll give you the mindful movements you need to do at home.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is best. If we’re focusing on a specific area, like your knee or shoulder, make sure it’s easily accessible.

How long will my recovery take?

Every case is unique, so recovery times vary. During your initial assessment, we’ll give you a clear roadmap and timeline based on your specific condition, goals and the science of tissue healing.

What results can I expect?

While every case is unique, our goal is to help you get back to the things you love. We break the steps down and track your progress meticulously.

What qualifications do your practitioners have?

Our physios are registered with the HCPC (just like nurses, pharmacists and clinical psychologists). They have achieved at least a 1:1 in a UK physio BSc, or they have a UK physio MSc. Our osteopaths are registered with GeOsC and have UK MOst degrees. Our sports therapists have done level 4 sports massage qualifications and are also student physiotherapists.

Do you have client testimonials or success stories?

Yes! Many of our clients have shared their recovery journeys with via Google reviews, on Doctify or our social media channels.

How do I know this clinic is right for me?

Choosing the right healthcare provider is a big decision. That’s why we focus on delivering exceptional care from your very first appointment. During your initial assessment, we’ll take the time to understand your goals, identify the root cause of your pain, and outline a personalised recovery plan. This is what we mean by a no BS approach. We’ve helped thousands of people invest in their health and get back to what they love.

Are you only for athletes/ultra-fit people?

Not at all! Everybody deserves gold-medal standard care (See below!) whatever your fitness level and whatever your relationship (or non-relationship!) with exercise. What we would hope is that you leave your work with us having a new appreciation for the incredible biology of your body, and having found a movement practice which works for you.

I’m an athlete/dancer/ultra-fit. Can I trust you with my body?

You absolutely can. We’re experienced getting people to start lines, through off-season prep, or managing in-season niggles (and catastrophes!). Our whole process is derived from high performance. During Head physio John’s experience at Scottish National Ballet he saw the bosses wanted to know what had happened to their dancers, and when they’d be back on stage.

At InTune we think everyone deserves the same methodical approach: You should know what’s going on. What the root causes are. What the probable time-line and process is for getting back on track.
